Beautiful Day!!!!:)

Goodmorning, it's another beautiful day in the South. Busy, busy day planned with lots to do. Getting my "woman cave" fixed up. Pics will follow when it's finished.....hugs, noah

project

So far the flooring is doing pretty good. My idea is to do everything I can to get the smell out of the particleboard, then I will stain it a dark stain. Then apply a coat of lacquer. When it is dry I plan to paint a Compass Rose of some design in the middle of the floor. I am still deciding on which design to use. Probably paint stripes around the edge of the floor. I plan to distress the "rose",then another coat of lacquer; perhaps several. I will give it my own technique of course and make it a bit different...maybe colour perhaps? What do ya'll think of this design?

What a mess

I'm ashamed to ask, but does anyone know a good solution to getting cat urine out of particle board?  I found one solution of 1 qt. of 3% hydrogen peroxide

1/4 cup baking soda

1 teasp. dish liquid

We "tried", (with three successful litters, but it was just too much) breeding Persian cats and thus one ruined carpet. The carpet is out but the boarding still stinks..before I put anything down I have to get this smell out.  Any ideas?

I love old windows......these were made in New Hampshire when I recently visited my "Coastie"....Not feeling too well today, perhaps too much Halloween candy....but, gotta get a late move on....happy day to everyone....hugs noah

one of my collections

I collect old egg beaters. I have one just like this, but the handle is green wood on top. I also collect rolling pins. I made a little "holder" for the rolling pins...just have the egg beaters hanging....What all do you collect?  I have too many to name...haa

the "need" to paint

I have several projects that I need to finish for certain people. One is painting on an old long, sharp saw. I am surely glad they are my friends and don't expect a time frame...haaaa

Hello all, beautiful here in the south with chill in the air. I must move my plants inside today. It's already gotten below 32* 3 nights now, but thankfully my plants are on a covered deck. The problem is: Where will I put them all?  Working on the old china cabinet here and there, doing my usual household duties.....hope you all have a wonderful day.
