NOAH'S MEMORIES: DOLLS

Welcome to my "book" of dolls.
It gives me pleasure to take an article of clothing that is special to someone and make it into a doll dress or outfit that they can display and enjoy the memories for years.

I charge according to how detailed the doll will be, how much of my own materials I have to use and the time it takes me. Some people have their own dolls. MAMA ROSIE

My best friend Jody, had an old dress that belonged to her mother who had passed away. She wanted something made from the dress instead of keeping it hidden away in the closet.

My best friend Jody, also had this pink sweater that was her mother's. I dressed this little girl for Jody to give to her niece.

This dolly was dressed from the same pink sweater for my friend Jody's sister. BELONGS TO GLADYS

JOYCE MARIE

This Victorian lady was made for my best friend Jody. She is made from "scratch". I cut out the body from muslin (no pattern) and stuffed her. Just used lace, silk, pearls etc. that I had on hand. She has a painted face. BELONGS TO JODY

DELIA MARIE

I found this old doll still in it's plastic bag. It has blinking blue eyes and beautiful red hair. I dressed "Delia" from a night gown that my beautiful mother wore about a year before she passed away.

This is Annabelle. One of the first dolls I made. Again, her body was made from "scratch". I fashioned her after my Nanaw Waldrop. She has an embroidered face.

This little girl was made for my daughter Lisa, and was also made from scratch. Her clothes are made from my daughters skirt she wore when she was small. She has a painted face

This kitty was dressed for my daughter Katie. "Miss Puss" is dressed in her finest velvet with a mink wrap and beaded broach. Shoes are also velvet. MISS PUSS BELONGS TO KATIE

"Miss Elaine Marie" was made for my best friend Maggie. She too, is made from scratch with a painted face. Lots of vintage lace, pearls and porcelain flowers.

I named this doll Melissa. She is made from scratch and has a painted face. Her dress is beaded and full-skirted behind and she wears a beret hat. Jean material is also incorporated in her vest, leggings and shoes. She's kind of a hippie. Melissa is for sale. If you are interested, I can send additional pictures of her. BEAUTIFUL GALE

This doll was dressed for my friend Gale. Her clothing is made from Gale's actual wedding dress and vale. I tried to keep the dress and vale as close to the original design as possible. I made her shoes and covered them with lace. Includes vintage lace and pearls.

This doll was dressed for my friend Mary. She is dressed from Mary's actual wedding dress and vale. I made her shoes covered in lace. Includes vintage pearl and lace.

I made this lady for my sister, Peggy. She too, is made from scratch and her face is painted. She is dressed in her fine velvet and lace with a hooded clock. She has a muff made from mink.

My best friend, Maggie collects Americana Mammy's and Pickaninny's. This young lady is made from scratch with a painted face, black, curly "doll" hair braided, and a head scarf. Earrings and pantaloons.The apron is make from an old handkerchief that my mother embroidered.

This was made for my great granddaughter Lillie. This little stuffed, hand-made monkey is wearing her pretty dress and undies and a petticoat. She has brown curly hair and is swinging from a painted pink half moon that will hang on the wall for Lillie's bedroom.

Another doll completely made. Her dress and purse are from an old hand embroidered table scarf that belonged to a sweet, dear, older lady that has passed away.Her face is painted and I am not very happy with the face...think I will re-touch.

This little angel is made from a very old quilt. My best friend Maggie sent me the quilt pieces and I made her one and this one for me. She has on a bonnet with embroidered face.
